This 15 page booklet touted Chlordane as one of the most highly effective insect control methods from 1944 until 1983 when it was banned by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency as a health hazard. However, prior to the ban, the booklet suggests painting, spraying or dusting Chlordane in kitchens and bathrooms but does not mention health precautions.
