On August 21, 1940, for the ticket price of $1.50, you could take a train ride from Paterson to Rye Beach, NY for the 53rd Annual Excursion of the Paterson Grocers’ Association that included “an evening sail up the Long Island Sound”. The price for children was only 75 cents. It included these hand fans.
