This bowling alley located on Route 17 was very well known in the 1950’s and 1960’s. At bowling’s peak, over 40,000 adults in Bergen County alone bowled in leagues. The alley was home to television shows such as “Make That Spare” and “Championship Bowling”. There was seating for 500 spectators. Occasionally, famous sport and movie stars would visit to watch the pro’s compete.
