This 1951 Cadillac ambulance was donated by the Paramus Rotary Club. It replaced a 1936 LaSalle ambulance that was purchased for $650 from the Closter Ambulance Corp and went into service in June 1950 when the ambulance corp. was organized. After housing the ambulance in various locations, the ambulance headquarters building on Midland Avenue was dedicated in June 1955.
