When radios became popular home items, they were purchased as living room furniture pieces such as this one. It had eight push buttons that could be set for your favorite radio stations. It also had a “short wave” band in addition to the normal AM radio band. This model contained vacuum tubes. It was manufactured before transistors and printed circuit boards of today.
